ATTENTION ALL TEAMS - HIGH IMPORTANCE - UPDATE!!
You will be pleased to know that the pool phone is now back in action. Please update your records to send all results and queries to the pool phone either by call / text / WhatsApp to 07975 788380, by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or to the official Facebook page via Facebook Messenger.
Going forward Nathan will be your main contact for any queries within the league so please feel free to contact him on either his mobile or the league one as and when you need. There may be times that he doesn't answer due to work but he will respond to you as soon as he can.
ATTENTION DIVISIONS ONE AND TWO!!!
Their have been some venue and name changes that have taken place over the past few days.
DIVISION ONE: Arkle are now known as Arkle Nomads and venue information will be communicated to opposing teams in due course
DIVISION ONE: Arkle Dolly's are now Black Horse Dolly's and will play from The Black Horse with immediate effect. All knockouts will also be played at this venue from this round onwards.
DIVISION 2: Spangled Bull 15 will now play with immediate effect from The Woodman, Dewsbury, and are The Woodman 15.
Please all teams be aware of these changes.
The proposed running schedule for this seasons knockouts is now available. These dates will be adhered to where possible however are not set in stone 2017 Knockout Format.
The second round of the Team knockout and the Quarter Finals draw of the Ladies knockout are now available in the relevant sections of the website and have been emailed to anyone on the distribution list.
As we are only allowed due to data protection to issue team contact numbers and not each individuals phone numbers it is imperative that we have a contact email for your team to receive the knockout draws which contain all telephone numbers. If you are not currently receiving emails from the league and wish to do so, please let a Nathan Wilby know so he can ensure you are added to the list.
HALFWAY POINT OF THE SEASON
The halfway point of the season has now been reached and NO
new registrations and NO transfers can take place after 5pm on Monday 14th
August 2017. This season The Committee will STRICTLY enforce this rule without
exception. Your players signatures MUST be sent by photo to
email@example.com or a picture via
What's App to the Results phone by 5pm to be valid. Points will be deducted on
next weeks tables for players who have participated and aren't registered.
LEAGUE REGISTRATION FEE RAFFLE WINNERS!!!
The draws took place last night at The Central Club Batley. 2 teams won their full League Registration Fees back for the season, for sale of raffle tickets ahead of our presentation night this season: They were Birstall Sports & Social and Hare & Hounds.
As part of our 30 years celebration we drew
10 teams to receive £30.00 of their League Registration Fees. These teams were
drawn from all those who returned Registration Sheets at the end of last nights
meeting. The winners were: Gomersal Cricket Club A, The Hightown, Wickham Arms,
White Rose, Dewsbury & Savile C&F Club, Birstall Cricket Club Juniors, Horse &
Jockey, Old Wine & Spirit Vaults, The Crown (Leeds Road) and New Inn (Staincliffe).
Funds will be available for collection at the next meeting at Central Club Batley
The presentation night for the 2016-2017 season was another fun filled evening, we hope you all enjoyed yourself as much as we did. The photos are available in the Gallery section of the website.

There have been a few separate reports in recent times to the Committee about teams arriving at away venues and not respecting the rules of the venue/landlord. Can we please remind all teams that when you go to play away, the rules of the venue are there to be adhered to i.e. if there are signs re No Swearing, please try to calm your language and respect other customers, likewise if there are any signs regarding the use of illegal substances, please do not do it on their premises (ideally don't do it anywhere regardless of if there are signs or not!!).
All matches are to be played in a sporting manner in accordance with Rule 33 of the BDPL rules and this covers all aspects of the night from the way you treat your opposing players, other customers, the bar staff, landlord and venue as a whole.
Any incidents which are reported to the Committee will be investigated and any evidence of wrongdoing will result in action being taken by the Committee including expulsion from the league.

THE WINNING TEAM IS THE TEAM RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE THE RESULT IS RECEIVED.
ALL MATCH SHEETS NEED TO BE RECEIVED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE FIXTURE WHETHER ELECTRONICALLY OR BY THE HARD COPY BEING DROPPED OFF AT THE CENTRAL CLUB FOR THE COMMITTEE TO COLLECT - ANY FIXTURE FOR WHICH A SHEET HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED WITHIN 7 DAYS WILL LEAD TO A 1 POINT DEDUCTION FOR THE TEAMS INVOLVED.
